Bind slave zone not updating Free adult chat no logins or upgrades
I've been trying to learn how to setup isc-dhcp-server and bind9 for dynamic dns service within my home LAN. Before configure the Slave/Secondary DNS Server we need to do some changes in our all Master/Primary DNS Server configuration files i.e.
I then ran the update command on the slave server and then cat'd the zone file on the slave and saw nothing had changed.
No, but I just did it manually (I went into the zone file, then incremented the number that is before the "; serial" text in the file.
Once the zone transfer has been received and the zone has been updated, then this zone refresh is complete - named does not continue to try the other servers to see if one of them has a yet bigger SOA.
The frequency with which this type of refresh takes place is controlled by the settings in the zone's SOA record.
